The team at Insight Psychotherapy offers an integrative practice model with a holistic approach to services.  As a collective, we treat the whole person and family rather than just address symptoms.

The Insight team uses a strengths-based approach, meeting each patient where they are in their current circumstances, and with the patient, we build a plan to move forward based on their individual goals.

We provide an extensive list of Specialties and Services that are available and offered by our experienced clinicians, including:

COUPLES THERAPY

Couples counseling is structured specifically to help clients deal with the challenges in their relationships. We are trained in several styles of therapy that help couples better understand their relationship dynamics and the obstacles and struggles they face together. While guiding the process of learning, healing, and reconnection, we provide clients with greater understanding and empathy that provides the means to sustain healthy patterns in their relationships.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

At Insight Psychotherapy, we understand how to help individuals overcome personal challenges and lead full and healthy lives. While providing an environment of empathy and acceptance, we facilitate clients' efforts to look inward and develop insight into whatever obstacles they may be facing. With our guidance and support, clients identify patterns of behavior or thoughts that interfere with their relationships and their experience of daily life. We help alter these patterns so our clients may find more satisfaction and joy in their lives.

GLBTQ ISSUES

Sexual identity unfolds over time and experience.  Whether you are straight, gay, bisexual or any other sexual identity, understanding your sexual identity and incorporating it into your life and relationships in a meaningful way is paramount to healthy living.  The team at Insight offers a nonjudgmental environment to understand and grow healthy selves that incorporate all aspects of life and relationships.

FERTILITY, THIRD-PARTY REPRODUCTION, ADOPTION

When choosing to grow your family, the road may become quite challenging.  Whether you are a heterosexual couple with fertility challenges, a single person looking for options or a same sex couple that must navigate this confusing process, it is important to have a knowledgeable and insightful therapist in your corner.  Understanding the benefits and challenges of third party reproduction, adoption (private/public/international/family), foster care, co-parenting or deciding to live child free is critical to your ability in finding next steps.  Let the team at Insight help you along this journey.

CLINICAL ASSESSMENTS

Our staff includes psychologists who can provide you or your child with thorough assessments to more accurately describe and understand personal and interpersonal challenges and academic struggles. Having this valuable information can lead to discovering new approaches and resources to help surpass obstacles and achieve greater success.

GROUP THERAPY

Often a great path forward is to meet with others who share a similar experience for a facilitated discussion with a therapist who can assist in bringing new meaning and skills.  At any age, individuals can learn new insight by sharing and talking with peers. Groups last between 6 - 15 weeks based on the subject matter.
