Meet Our Family of Experts

Why do we call ourselves a "tribe"?

We believe in community, teamwork and sharing the best of what we all bring to our practice. Each therapist has their special areas of focus and expertise. While respecting confidentiality, our patients are able to get valuable insight and benefits from the entire tribe. All of our Associates work with individuals, couples and families. In addition to our clinical specialties, we also work with the full range of common therapeutic concerns such as, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief/mourning, relationships and life changes.

Please take a moment to get to know us better and feel free to contact us directly with any specific questions by using our personal contact form in each of our profile pages.

“I am a therapist who pays careful attention to you, who you are, who you want to be, and how you will get there. In therapy, I place primary importance on helping you have the sense that whatever you are going through is more manageable because we are both working on it together. I have been successful in working with many types of individuals, with a large variety of issues (see below for more details). My office is a place where it is okay to feel any way you feel, think anything you think, and talk through it with another trusted person. Although sharing uncomfortable thoughts and feelings can be daunting, I have found that it greatly benefits patients who have the courage to undertake the process of thinking about themselves out loud to a skilled professional.”

“There is profound strength in wanting to make a change in your life. Realizing that you have the power to seek help, and then making a choice to act upon this realization is no small step.

My goal is to understand you as an individual -  strengths, challenges, and the many various aspects of your identity that feel important to you. I work with adults of all backgrounds who struggle with depression, anxiety and mood disorders. I also work with clients around transitions and major life changes. I also enjoy working with clients who may be struggling with their identity, finding their voice and finding new ways to see themselves.

My hope is that through our work together you can feel supported and encouraged to make changes in your life, whether those changes are large or small, singular or numerous. Perhaps those changes have already happened, and you need support around adjusting to those changes.   Whatever the case may be, I hope that I have this opportunity to assist you in a way that feels supportive and empowering.”

"I don't know one person who doesn't want to be understood. I believe there is an undeniable need that everyone has to connect with someone or something, on some deeper level. It could be a desire to connect with a person or an idea or with a higher power. Whatever it is that you're seeking, can be found through therapy. This shared experience has the opportunity to enlighten, dig deep, and teach as well as give way to the possibility to see success and fulfillment of goals through self-awareness and determination. My desire is to help others find the connection that makes them feel they have purpose and worth. I look forward to joining you in the journey!"

"As someone who loves to read and learn, one of my favorite authors is the master psychiatrist Irvin Yalom. In his book entitled “The Gift of Therapy,” he so eloquently depicts the essence of how I see the therapeutic relationship and how therapy can be a gift to both clients and therapists.  For me, therapy is indeed just that: a gift - a gift that you give yourself to build upon the strengths you already possess.  Whether your goal is to gain greater understanding and insight, reduce symptoms, lessen suffering, or increase your ability to cope with life stress, I am deeply committed to helping you in a compassionate, non-judgmental way along the path to reaching your full potential."

"So many times when we struggle, we just need some space between ourselves and the things that are hard for us.  Being able to sit with a trusted therapist to create some healthy space which allows us to really look at what is happening allows us to shift.  Perhaps it is a shift in outlook, a shift in behavior, a shift in perspective.  Sometimes that comes as an “Aha!” moment and sometimes it is as simple as an “Ahhhh” moment.  Whatever it takes that allows for a growth is where I find great meaning in working with people.  I look forward to seeing what moments can be created with you!”

"I work to create a space without judgments were clients can learn, heal and grow. Every client I meet comes with their own set of gifts, challenges, supports and dreams. No one tells the same story as another… and I welcome the distinctiveness of each client.  Entering therapy can be a frightening process.  I take great pride in my ability to create a safe space to partner with each client uniquely."
