I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist who works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing crisis, post-traumatic stress, medical illness, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and academic and career stress. I utilize an approach that is solution focused and integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, mindfulness techniques, play therapy, and narrative therapy. My style is eclectic based on each person’s needs, utilizing a collaborative and active approach to determine optimal coping strategies in a safe, comfortable environment.

I received my Masters in Social Work from Boston College and have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in the Boston area. I have a strong background working with trauma, loss, crisis, illness, adaptation to change, family dynamics, and academic and career stress and provide initial consultation, short term crisis intervention, and long term therapy. I have worked with people who have experienced significant trauma, illness, and loss as well as interpersonal and family stress, and have provided an opportunity for each person to gain insight into their own capacity for resilience and change, taking into consideration the social context of each individual’s unique personal experience. Whether you are looking for support around coping with a difficult transition, navigating challenging interpersonal or family dynamics, achieving better balance in your life, attempting to cope with academic or career stress, grieving the loss of a loved one, or looking to gain insight into patterns of behavior or communication, therapy offers an environment that is welcoming and accepting.
